A few blogs ago, we looked at Kate Spade’s 2010 fall collection. On a recent trip to Chicago’s North Shore Old Orchard mall, Nordstrom had plenty of Kate Spade accessories to choose from. The Knightsbridge Darcy (Muse) bag was as lovely in person as in the print ads.

“There’s no place like home!” Kate Spade’s flats sparkle and are great walking shoes.

I  recently purchased Kate’s button studs in the amber stone. Very pretty and reasonably priced!

This time of year as we’re shopping for fall/winter, many of us will have to store our strappy sandals and address footwear. We recently drove to the northshore of Chicago;  Nordstrom at the Old Orchard mall, has a fantastic display of the warm, comfortable UGG boots. There’s something here for everyone.

We’re diligent about extra water-proofing the sheepskin boots. They’ll last several years and take on a great patina look.

Lynda Fur Chubbie, faux fur with poly-taffeta lining in leopard. This is a great jacket you’ll use for years to come. I especially like it with the yellow skirt. If you like the skirt, below is another outfit with a sweet cardigan.

LOVE THIS OUTFIT! I’ll be wearing the Enormous Swiss Dot Tights! Be sure to check out Kate’s shoes. Her flats are showstoppers and oh-so-comfortable.

Saks Fifth Avenue in Manhattan was buzzing with shoppers for sales and new merchandise. I found two tops for fall and a fun pair of shoes. Check out your nearest store or click here  for on-line.

On a recent visit to Bloomingdales on 59th Street and Lexington Avenue, New York City, the collections for Fall are impressive.

The semi-annual sale at Nordstrom was a success! Here’s a display from the International Plaza.  Business was brisk! . This outfit featuring a Caslon cardigan is adorable and shifts easily from work to play. We bought the grey sweater along with the Halogen seamed knit skirt in deep violet. This skirt will become a staple; the new black!

Here is a great bag at Saks Fifth Avenue that you will use again and again. I like the size; you’re not limited to a lipstick and comb and the fact it’s a shoulder bag makes party-going easier. Two zippered-pockets is good to protect credit cards and cash. I’d also pair it with a pair of jeans and t-shirt to add extra sparkle. Click here for more info.
