While at Dillards at the Coastland Center in Naples, Florida, I stopped to look at the Ralph Lauren collection that features a beautiful shade of pink. Check out these outfits. I believe there’s an item or two that will pack well for your Spring Break trip or cruise!

I’m borderline between regular and petites but usually require regular sizes, where pants always need hemming. (Oh well!)  I like to check out the petite sections because once in a while the petite size will work. Funny thing is, the departments do not always carry the same items, meaning, if you see something in petite it’s not guaranteed you’ll find it in regular size too. Here are some fun outfits from the petite Ralph Lauren at Macy’s at Coastland Center in Naples, Florida.

If you’re a borderline type of gal, it’s worthwhile to look in both departments.

December is a month of outings; day and night. Day outings are popular as we celebrate the holidays with a shopping trip or lunch. For that extra special look, go to Ralph Lauren. The looks are classic.  Recently, I had a day full of activity from morning until night.  I wore all Ralph Lauren:  gray wool lined pants with thin white stripe; white blouse with monogram on sleeve; small-patterned wool vest; black nylon jacket with tan leather trim.  It worked well and many compliments. I bought these items 2 years ago!  They are classic and worth the price when I purchase them. You don’t get rid of classic clothes because they go out of style; you donate when they are getting worn out. Look your best this holiday season !

Can I ever say enough about Ralph Lauren?  Here at Macy’s at Coastland Center in Naples, Florida, these outfits make great additions to our wardrobes. The Ralph Lauren suit with print blouse is a professional look that I can see taking you to your evening date with a quick change of shoes and jewelry and stronger eye shadow.  The blouse and pants work on so many levels.  Nice for work or how about a casual Saturday night date?  Throw a cardigan over your shoulders and you’re ready to go!

In LAUREN by Ralph Lauren petites, our play options give us great bang for our buck.  This look brings your everyday wear up several notches.  With styles like these, you’ll be wearing these pieces for years to come.

Animal print is in but it’s truly a classic.  While it’s best not to overdue it, Ralph Lauren displays a lovely flowing dress in an all-over print that is elegant and fresh.  This would be a great addition to your closet for so many occasions.  This black dress is another example of why we love black dresses!

What can I say?  My daughter loves Ralph, I love Ralph, my friends love Ralph.  It’s the evening dress; the pick up the kids outfit; the errand outfit; the lunch with girlfriend outfit.  Ralph fits me well and I’m “wowed” just about all of the time.  From Chicago’s Michigan Avenue to Naples’ Coastland Center;  Ralph has it going on!  The beauty of this designer is there is something for everyone.  There’s the “Collection;” Black Label; Blue Label; Lauren; RLX; Golf; Pink Pony; home furnishings; paint, bedding; etc. Watch for “Ralph Lauren has it going on” fashion on my blog over the next few days. 

Here are examples of great outfits.  In the “brown” display, I especially like the blouse with white tie and sweater.  It is classic and lovely.  The outfits I’m  unsure about are the ones with the shiny puffer jackets.  Both black and brown displays showcase this look.  The looks here are okay because the shiny puffer is paired with a traditional bottom – tweed skirt.  If you just have to have the shiny puffer, I don’t think I’d stray much from how it is shown here.  Save puffy for the tweed pants or skirt.  I can see the black puffer with a pair of Ralph wool charcoal-grey with thin white stripe pants I have.  Throw on a white cashmere turtleneck underneath.  Personally, I find the shiny puffer very limiting, and it would not be at the top of my “to buy” list.
