We moan and groan because we’re exposed to Christmas earlier and earlier.  One year, I saw ornaments being stocked in August! I wrote a blog a month ago about us “consumers” being over-exposed to “retail” Christmas. Corporate, please get the hint.  We know Christmas is coming and we’ll plan and shop our needs without seeing decor and listening to xmas music as the school year starts.  It’s just so overdone! We’re already over-tasked, over-exposed, over-pass worded, without the not-so-subtle hints in August that “Christmas is coming!”  Let’s get through Labor Day, Halloween and Thanksgiving first. We all know what comes next without the reminders.

Well, I was delighted this past weekend while shopping at Nordstrom on Chicago’s Michigan Avenue.  See for yourself.  I was so excited I had to take a picture of it!  I think our moans and groans are finally being heard!  Ah yes! (sigh)     Now it’s time for Fa-La-La !
