International Plaza – Tampa, Florida
Thursday, October 1st, 2009Layover in Tampa? No problem! The International Plaza should be in the top of your list of places to visit when you’re in the area. It’s a favorite of mine and I try to work my travels so I can stop in. It’s right next door to Tampa International Airport (TPA).
Great to lunch at Nordstrom’s. Many high-end stores (Neiman Marcus & Tiffany to name a few) but there’s really something for everyone here. Visit Crate and Barrel’s freestanding store (on the parking lot grounds). They feature a great “staged” upper floor where you can see merchandise in place. Makes it easy to shop for your home or apartment. Z-Gallerie is fun. I’m always amazed at Robb & Stucky. I believe it’s a flagship store and there’s a huge difference from other Robb’s I’ve visited. Great decorating ideas, beautiful furniture and accessories. If you need help, their staff is very attentive.
