Bloomingdales , 900 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, was buzzing with excitement as customers shopped for their fall wardrobes. Military and casual looks are paired with sparkle to bring up the bar on your everyday wear. Change your shoes and jewelry to easily take you from afternoon errands to fun nights on the town. Here’s a cute camouflage dress and outfit from Michael Kors I thought were great!

INC International Concepts is another of my favorite lines to freshen up your wardrobe at great prices. I find their styles fresh, fun and great fitting on many figure types. Here again we see military looks and colors along with glitter that adds fun to your look.

Here’s Karen Kane outfits with leggings. These bring to mind great travel options. Airplane travelers take note: these pack easily, are comfortable and stylish, will keep you warm with jackets, and look good with flats or boots.

The Lauren Jeans Company/Ralph Lauren says classic updated for the season. Never can go wrong with Ralph Lauren!

On a recent visit to Bloomingdales on 59th Street and Lexington Avenue, New York City, the collections for Fall are impressive.
Ralph Lauren Blue Label. Classic with a twist. Love the collection.
Tory Burch. Let’s see, which one? I’ll take all three!
Ah, Ralph Lauren Black Label! Lovely camel and gray. Elegant.
Burberry. The patterned trench coat with black outfit works beautifully.
One of my favorite designers, Michael Kors.

Ready, set, GO! I’m excited about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starting July 16th. Cole Hahn; Badgley Mischka; Caslon; Elle Tahari; Lafayette 148 New York; Simon Sebbag and much more! The Beauty Exclusives in color, skincare and fragrances are incredible. Check out the men’s and children’s sale for great savings. I’ve already placed my order with the Narrative manager Lisa at Nordstrom, International Plaza, in Tampa, and will be flying there on Friday. Saturday is the big day and she’ll collect my order and hold it for me so I can see what works. I’m trying makeup at the Trish McEvoy counter at 10:00 to start out the day. This is a sale you won’t want to miss. If you haven’t received a catalog, click HERE and you can look through the catalog on-line. I’ve been told the Pre-sales have been brisk, so check your selections! I’ll be reporting Saturday!

The eye-4-style site is under maintenance and I’m in the process of moving, but there’s so much talk about! Chicago’s Michigan Avenue; Worth Avenue in Palm Beach; The International Plaza in Tampa; The Waterside Shops in Naples, and today, The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. I could have spent the day at Nordstrom! Macy’s and Saks, Bloomingdales and Michael Kors just to name a few others, are presenting great fashion for all body shapes and budgets. Fabrics, colors and styles are amazing! Cosmetics and skin care are just getting better. Always have to stop by the NARS counters and Elemis for skin care. I’m also delighted by the sales personnel. Always feel free to talk to them about merchandise and products. They are knowledgeable, pleasant and very helpful in taking care of the customer to find what they’re looking for. Smiles all around!
More soon………………!

I started on a project today and Grammy fever took over. Two hours later, I have outfits together, but my bedroom and dressing area look like I was hit by a hurricane!
The dress I’m wearing for Grammy night is from alice + olivia. Stacey Bendet started a great line and I find myself purchasing more and more of this NY native’s designs when I’m looking for something fun. I’ll wear this glamorous little black dress with sheer dot stockings by BCBG and Dior high heels. Accessories: Lori Bonn earrings; bracelets-one being a purple enameled cuff by Kara Ross; eggplant headband with a big rhinestone in the middle of 5” feathers; purple Prada evening bag. Nars makeup and Estee Lauder Black Amethyst nail polish will complete the outfit.
For the flight to LA and a lunch on Saturday, I’m wearing a fuchsia DVF dress with Stuart Weitzman bone heels. I’ll use the same shoes with a black sexy number from INC for Saturday night. Friday night I have a dress from Free People, wearing with patterned tights from Juicy Couture and Michael by Michael Kors Beverly Sandals in genuine snake. Earrings and bracelets by John Hardy.
I’ll be adding to the pile as I think of things the next few days. I’m determined to have one medium size bag. We’ll see!
Meanwhile, it’s stopped raining in Los Angeles. Let’s hope we have dry weather for the Red Carpet!

When you have a good product, you’ll re-introduce it every year in the “colors of the season.” Target has a great v-neck sweater that I buy several of each Fall/Winter season. It is soft, washes well, and at a great price of $17.99! Sometimes I ponder, why re-invent the wheel? If there is a basic you need every year at a great price, put it on the shelves and the consumer will buy! You can dress it up or down. I have the sweater here with a Burberry scarf and Michael Kors belt. I LOVE this color and heard many compliments. I’ll wear it out this season and I’ll be back at Target next year to buy the sweater in new Fall/Winter colors!

Love these Michael Kors shoes, but I have a confession to make. I was at International Plaza in Tampa, Florida, this week for double-points at Nordstrom. Five women approached me about the shoes I was wearing. BCBGirls I purchased from Nordstrom a few years ago. They are a brown with a subtle gold/green stripe fabric. Pointed toe, always slimming to the leg, nice heel height. I consider these shoes a neutral, but when I wear them with a solid-color suit, they become a nice bit of eye candy. I’ve had compliments from many men as well as women. Anyway, that day, I could have sold 10 pair without even trying. When upstairs trying on dresses, I had more inquiries about where could they buy my shoes! I say this to designers; when you have a great shoe, bring it back every few years. There’s the good ones that will always be in demand.
